Every once in a while we’ll come to you with a movie that you’ve probably never heard of, but you should watch it anyways because we say so.
The year is 1952 and Deputy Sheriff Lou Ford is a pillar of the community in his small west Texas town — patient, dependable, and well-liked. And oh yeah, he’s a violent murdering sociopath.
The plot of this movie has a lot of twists and turns, and the basic premise of the film of the dichotomy between Lou Ford’s appearance vs. reality is maintained to the fullest degree.

This was so edgy that even Sundance people got mad it existed!
